Radio Interview
Interview I did in 2007 for Warna Malay Radio, which highlights the fact that I needed to brush up on my Malay (I still need to) Actually asked my ex-girlfriend (now my wife) to help write a transcript in Malay so I could answer potential questions that could be asked....
For Native Speakers of Malay, do note my struggles in trying to answer appropriately.
(Ironically, I had more or less renounced Malay Language as a subject that had little relevance in my future, and usually ranked it least in importance in my academic life. How wrong I was, when I realised that command of Malay was imperative for appropriately communicating to my Malay clients in programmes and casework. Even more ironic is the fact that I have married a Malay teacher. Then again, I consider that a blessing, as I have my own private tutor to make up for my incompetencies of the language over the years..)
